Mission & Values

Alton pride is a charitable and educational organization established to bring awareness understanding and advocacy to the LGBTQ+ community with an emphasis on the specific needs of the youth, POC, homeless and the mental ill people of the LGBTQ+ community.

We believe by fostering and building relationships within the surrounding communities and other 501 c3 organizations we create a network of support that will meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people and other communities as a whole. 


We want our crisis center to serve as an emergency short term shelter and our office space serve as a resource center providing social and mental health services as well as functioning as a safe place for people to gather for support and fellowship, hosting activities such as workshops, and seminars to develop and nurture a happier healthier lifestyle for all those seeking it.
