Meet the Board

Nicci Kincer – President
I was born and raised in Granite City IL and graduated from Granite City Senior High School in 1992. I came out at 14 and was one of the first members of Growing American Youth, (when it was still meeting in the basement of MCC in St.Louis). I have always loved the LGBT+ community. Like many other gay youth the men and women of the community became my family in a time when my blood family couldn’t be there for me. Now I have the opportunity and privilege to give back to my community. I look forward to working on community building projects that Alton Pride has coming in the future.
Anne McCoy – Secretary

Anne has lived in the Alton/Jerseyville area most of her life. She attended Alton High School and has an Associated Degree in Computer Information Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Regis University. Anne volunteered with Pride St. Louis for four years, serving as Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Director of Vendor Relations, and Web-Site Administrator. She also serves as secretary on the administrative board, and was formerly on the finance committee of St. John’s UCC in Brighton, IL. St. John’s is an “Open and Affirming” congregation, which reaches out to and ministers to the LGBTQ+ community.

Anne currently resides near Brighton, IL with her wife of 18 years LuAnn.
